TenantSpect is built for South Africa. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we protect it.
TenantSpect (“we”, “us”) provides a web-based service to create property inspection reports with photos and digital signatures.

- Account data: email, username, authentication details.
- Inspection data: property details you enter, room checklist items, notes, and report metadata.
- Photos and signatures: images you upload or draw within the signing pad.
- Usage data: basic logs needed to operate and secure the service (e.g., requests, errors).
- Payments: subscription status and identifiers needed to manage billing (payments are processed by Paystack; we do not store full card details).
- To provide the service: create inspections, generate PDFs, and enable signing.
- To secure access and prevent abuse.
- To manage subscriptions and plan limits.
- To improve reliability and user experience.
Inspection share links use unguessable tokens. Anyone with the link can view/sign that inspection. You are responsible for sharing the link only with intended recipients.
We process personal information to perform our contract with you (provide the service), to comply with legal obligations, and where appropriate for legitimate interests such as security and fraud prevention.
- We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data.
- Inspection data is retained while your account is active, unless you delete it or request deletion (subject to legal requirements).
- Backups may retain data for a limited period for resilience and recovery.
We share data only as needed to deliver the service, including:
- Paystack for subscription billing.
- Infrastructure providers for hosting and file storage.
We do not sell your personal information.
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion, subject to legal and contractual requirements.
- Object to processing in certain circumstances.
